Laurel Haag
Laurel Haag, co-founder of Buchsbaum & Haag, is an experienced litigator whose practice is exclusively devoted to representing employees in all areas of employment law matters. She routinely handles employment lawsuits involving claims of wrongful termination, retaliation, discrimination, harassment, wage and hour, including misclassification, unpaid overtime and meal/rest period violations, PAGA, class actions and whistle-blowing matters. Ms. Haag has obtained millions of dollars in trial verdicts and settlements on behalf of her clients.
Early on in her career, she worked at a large law firm on the management side. While it has proven to be a useful experience, it never felt quite right. She made the switch to a plaintiff's employment law firm, where she worked for many years before co-founding Buchsbaum & Haag. Advocating for employees' rights has been her true calling. At 9 months pregnant, she won her first jury trial with law partner, Brent Buchsbaum. Over the years, the clients and their stories have cemented Ms. Haag's love of employment law and for helping those in need.
